Day 2 Munster U-18s
Captains Prize for Juniors – Saturday 13 July 2024
Our Captains Ciara Marmion and Mark McAleer will host their Captain’s Prize to the Juniors this Saturday, 13 July.
Both Ciara and Mark are massive supporters and advocates of our Junior Section, with Mark previously holding the position of Junior Convenor. This is the first of our three majors this season and we are looking to have as many of our juniors playing as possible.
The timesheet is now live. If lines fill up for your category, please contact the pro shop and they will add more lines.
The entry fee is €10 to include food afterwards.
The prize giving will take place at approx 8.30pm in the clubhouse and as ever, it would be great to have a big turnout of both players and parents. Our majors are as much about the social aspect of our extensive Junior golf programme, including for the parents, so please try and make the prize giving.

Well done to our five players who represented the club in the qualifier for the Boy’s Interclub which was held in Delgany this morning.
It was an early start for the Greystones players who were first out this morning alongside the hosts at 08.00.
John O’Boyle, Leo Murphy, John Byrne, Adam Moore and Tom Murphy played some nice golf in testing conditions. Top of the bunch today was John Byrne who shot 38 points, John O’Boyle shot 33 points with the final counting card that of Leo Murphy who shot 31 points. Unfortunately Blainros shot the lights out beating second place Delgany by a whopping 12 shots.
Thanks to our players who represented the club very well indeed.
